In 1863, Hartville played host to a battle between the Confederate and Union armies during the War between the States. 2013 marked the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Hartville. September 11-13, 2020, the City of Hartville will host our 3rd Reenactment event, bringing our rich Civil War History to life!
